Overview of Carmody Clubs and Programs

Name of Club

Description of Activity (Club)

Disney Club

Students will do all things, Disney.  They will research the best rides, watch Disney movies, have an occasional sing-along, and complete Disney-themed service projects to “spread the magic” of Disney to others!

Inclusion Club

The inclusion club is all about learning how to interact with people with disabilities, playing games, creating lasting friendships, and learning to get along with everyone. Once a month an outside program called Sammy's Buddy Program will provide food and activities students with and without disabilities can enjoy. There will be activities such as cooking, games, dog biscuit-making, coloring, and other crafts.

Creative Writing Club

Students engage in the creative writing process (for any form of writing/genre they choose) and have the opportunity to share their work in a comfortable, safe, and supportive writing community! Students have the opportunity to workshop their writing and are exposed to writing advice and tips in addition to various creative writing pieces for guidance and inspiration.
